The Frosted Castle – At West End, Washington DC

Welcome to “The Frosted Castle At West End”, an historic 130+ year old Victorian Brownstone, tastefully restored w/ elegance & artistry. Close by walking distances to sites, restaurants, Georgetown, Metro, shopping & more!

This is a four-level multi-family building. The separate and private space, which our guests occupy is located on the first 2 levels. This two-level area, which is located on the ground & first floor,  includes four professionally decorated and furnished bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms. Each cozy room has been decorated and furnished with theatrical themes and dramatic flair.

The center hallway foyer leads to the cheerful and cozy Living Room, Dining Area, Brand New Kitchen, Full Luxury Bathroom and the private Rear Courtyard Patio.

The spacious Air and Space Bedroom is conveniently located on the ground level. Named after Washington DC’s favorite museum this room offers a Queen sized bed with a clear daylight view of street life, ample seating space for lounging and a private access doorway to the rear courtyard patio.

The Potomac River Bedroom Suite, located on the second floor, derives its name from the colors and nature of the nearby Potomac River in Georgetown. This bedroom offers an inviting Queen size bed, towering 10 foot ceilings, cable television, a quaint seating area and a fabulous view of bustling West End street life.

The Banksey Graffiti Bedroom, inspired by one of our favorite artists, offers a private view of the rear courtyard patio and a very cozy and comfortable twin trundle bed, which is perfect as two Twin Size beds or can be easily joined to make a King size.

The National Zoo Bedroom, named after Washington DC’s world-famous zoo, offers another fabulous front-seat city view with 10 foot ceilings, cable television, a Queen size canopy bed and a seating area from where you can watch street life from the comfort of your own suite.

Each bedroom offers the best comfort, with Cool Top Tempurpedic Mattresses, fine linens and comfy pillows. Linens are professionally cleaned and sterilized between each guest. Top cleanliness is our staff’s constant standard and goal!

All zones and every bedroom are equipped with separate Mitsubishi temperature control, Cable TV, Smart TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Each room provides a USB connection and bottled water. In addition, each bedroom is equipped with Amazon Echo Music speakers, which give each guest access to the Amazon Music library experience.

The two Luxury Bathrooms offer Deep Jacuzzi JET Soaking Tubs, Heated Bidets, with elegance and ambiance. We also provide toiletries and supplies in all of our bathrooms.

The Frosted Castle is also an ideal venue for entertaining guests, family events, company meetings or small gatherings!

Our BANQUET DINING ROOM, which is separate from the lower two levels, located on the 3rd floor, offers an elegant venue for dining, office meetings or entertainment of 26 people or less!  ***Please ask us for the details and rental rates for this space for your special events.

Whether you are checking out the active street life from the Front Patio Garden, having a private barbecue in the Rear Courtyard Patio or just looking for peace and comfort amidst the center of bustling Downtown Washington, DC, The Frosted Castle At West End is every traveler’s dream come true!

Outdoor entertainment is taken to a new height! In addition, our guests are welcome to use the gas barbecue grill, which is located in the Private Rear Courtyard Patio for a nominal fee of $35, which can be paid at the time of Check-In. You must notify us in advance in writing if you intend to use the barbecue grill. The necessary Disclaimer will have to be signed prior to use (No one under the age of 21 may operate the grill).

Guests will have access to our private Rear Alley Patio and seating. Depending upon the weather, guests may take advantage of our gas Barbecue Grill. In addition, guests are welcome to sit and mingle at our Front Patio garden, with a front-seat city view of bustling West End!

All gatherings are restricted to no more than 10 people.

Pop-up parties and promotional parties are not allowed. All parties and events must be approved in writing with the hosts, prior to any such event.

The DC Ordinance for Excessive Noise is in effect every day after 10:00 pm. Since we are located in a residential neighborhood, this ordinance is strictly enforced. All gatherings and noise must move indoors after 10:00 pm.
